Uh-0h. Better back up.

The other guys may be throwing deep.

Next year's schedule was released Wednesday, and it promises to be a pass-happy affair. After all, the Bucs had one of the NFL's worst pass defenses a year ago.

Last year, the Bucs allowed the highest quarterback rating of any team (110.9) and the highest percentage of pass completions.

And here we go again. Suffice it to say that the first thing you notice about new coach Bruce Arians is how he stands up the aerial game.

The Bucs start the season against San Francisco's Jimmy Garappolo, who is expected to be back from knee surgery.

Four days after that, the Bucs play Carolina's Cam Newton, an old nemesis.

Then comes Giants' quarterback Eli Manning, who hit 17 of 18 passes in last year's victory.

After that, the Bucs play the Rams' Jared Goff, who reached the Super Bowl last year.

Then comes the Saints' Drew Brees, another familiar rival.

After that, the Bucs play a home game in London where they will face Newton again.

The Bucs have a bye week afterward, then they play against Marcus Mariota and the Titans.'

The Bucs then travel to Seattle to play against Russell Wilson of the Seahawks.

After that, they Bucs play Arizona, who could play No. 1 draft pick Kyler Murray.

Brees has a second game against Tampa Bay the following week.

Matt Ryan of the Falcons is up after that.

Then comes Jacksonville and newly acquired Nick Foles.

After that, the Colts come into town with Andrew Luck.

Matt Stafford and the Lions are up next.

The Bucs then host DeShaun Watson and the Texans.

They wind up their season against Ryan and the Falcons.

In other words, the pass defense has to be better, or it's going to be another long year for Tampa Bay.
