Miami’s Kaaya continues to lead state QBs

Quarterbacks are the reason that the powerhouse teams of the state are unbeaten. And quarterbacks are the reason each team has a chance to remain that way.

A brief look, then, at the state's quarterbacks after Week Three.

1. Brad Kaaya, Miami: Kaaya's value was never more apparent that in Saturday's overtime victory against Nebraska. Kaaya threw for 379 yards and three touchdowns. Kaaya has already thrown for 839 yards and five touchdowns.

2. Everett Golson, FSU: Golson still hasn't put a full game together. He
