Marcus Mariota won.

Mariota was more elusive. Mariota was more efficient. Mariota was more explosive. Mariota was ore of a boy scout.

So if you're the Tampa Bay Bucs, you have to prefer Mariota, right?

Or do you?

It seems that the consensus is leaning toward Winston.
Today both Shawn King and Trent Dilfer seem to think that Winston could contribute immediately.

Mariota is a fine young man, and comes with no baggage, but so did a certain young man from the University of Florida.

I wish that I could be sure that Winston is mature enough for the task.

You’re never going to know that. That’s the big risk

QB the Bucs take comes down to two things. Who does Lovie and the new OC like more and can he pass what I HOPE will be a long look at Winston’s off the field actions. Interviews with him, family, teammates, friends and enemies.
We know this, the Buccaneers cannot afford to blow this pick. It’s rare to get a number one pick and the Bucs certainly don’t want another top five pick anytime soon.
Yes, safe to pick Marcus but it’s not that simple. Fans are waiting!

75% on your picks ain’t bad. The Ravens will give the Pats all they can handle.

Not bad. Just believed in the Steelers at home.
