It took a little extra, but the Tampa Bay Lightning won one of its biggest victories of the season Tuesday night.

The Lightning beat the Montreal Canadiens, 1-0, in overtime on Tyler Johnson's goal. Ben Bishop had his third shutout of the season.

In the victory, the Lightning proved it can go on the road and win a big game. Again, its defense played well, which it has since the acquisition of Braydon Coburn at the trading deadline.

For the Lightning, it was a big victory, its third of the year against a Montreal team that swept them out of last season's playoffs. The Lightning played without Bishop in that series.
