Monday, 6 a.m.

The Lightning have traveled this way before.

The way we remember it, the road used to be a lot smoother.

These days, there are bumps and hairpin turns, potholes and detours. So this was the road to the Stanley Cup? It has never been rougher.

Who knows if this Lightning team will be able to equal what the 2003-04 team

YES, 4 more wins! Score first and then Defense! This team seems to play it’s best when their backs are against the wall. Maybe the Bolts should treat EVERY game as a Game 7!

Great column, Gary, nice to remember the road the 2004 team took, that was an amazing run and Calgary was as tough as nails in the final. Never doubted we could win, but sometimes had my doubts we could survive!
