Jackson is a strength for Bucs, but is he elite?

TAMPA

He does not outjump the world like Calvin Johnson.

He does not sizzle through the secondary like Larry Fitzgerald.

He is not as explosive as Julio Jones, or as productive as Antonio Brown, or as frustrating to cover as DeMaryius Thomas. He is not as sure-handed as Anquan Boldin, or as electric as Dez Bryant, or as relentless as Jordy Nelson. He is not having the same year as A.J. Green or Alshon Jeffry or Golden Tate. To be honest, he is not as big an impact to his Tampa Bay as Mike Evans.

Here, then, is the question about Vincent Jackson.

Is he an elite receiver?

And if not, why is he being paid like one?
