How bad could it get?

How far out could they finish?

The faster these Tampa Bay Rays fall, and the further, the easier it is to wonder. This team continues to plummet, past the clouds, past the mountain tops, and toward the rocks below. You know it will end up painful and it may end up bloody.

There are days it feels as if the Rays will never again get another hit, and other days when it feels as if they will not record another out. Every day, it seems, the Rays forget one more thing about how to play baseball. Coming up next: Turning left at first base.
