To all fields: Could FSU win, and still fall?

In Tallahassee...

What if Florida State wins today?

And loses?

What if they start ragged (yeah, you can imagine it), and then find themselves? What if they sputter for a while, as is their habit, but make another frantic comeback and win the game? What if they win the ACC title, and they dance around the field, and they celebrate their 29th straight victory?

What if all that happens, and then they get left out?

A day late here, but expect TCU might end up the odd man out this afternoon.

Could be. They probably didn’t deserve to be there anyway. But when the No. 3 team wins in a walk, it has some arguments it shouldn’t fall. We’ll see.
