Could FSU-Florida be a great game once again?

Thursday, 6 a.m.

There is a little business to take care of first, of course.

FSU has this bothersome little rivalry with Clemson. It has to make a decision on a quarterback. It has a season-long of sputtering to stop on offense.

Florida has to wrap up the SEC East. It has to get its own offense in order. It has to make sure that its players don't let up on the gas.

Still, it is out there. Already, it shines like a beacon in the distance.

Florida-FSU.

FSU-Florida.

This year, it might finally mean something again. For years to come, it might mean something. What do you know? They might finally light the spear again.

Oh, once, it was the most essential rivalry in the country. Talk all you want about
