If Dalvin Cook had preferred basketball as a youngster, USF would have won this game.

If Cook had chosen to go, oh, to Miami, then USF would have won this game.

If the court case of his summertime accuser had been stronger, then USF would have won this game.

Instead, Cook is a Seminole, and he's a running back, and he staked claim to a football game on Saturday afternoon. Make no mistake, USF was determined to win an upset, and if not for Cook, they would have done it.

Cook was by far the best football player on the field Saturday, darting through and around the Bulls, rushing for a staggering 266 yards and
