Cash enjoys the celebration as Rays win their first of the year/JEFFREY S. KING

It was loud. It was wild. It was boisterous.

Kevin Cash had heard about moments like this, how unbridled the Rays were when they had a victory to celebrate. And now, this was his celebration, and he was in the middle of it.

It was dark. It was loose. It was fun.

Unfortunately it feels like the Rays are trying to win in the bigs with a minor league team. Does anyone feel differently? The major fail of MLB to come up with a way to stop big markets from robbing small market teams of their best players is to blame.
I’m not sure I give a damn anymore.
Expect Longo to be traded for two Joe Blows and a prospector named Festus Bodine any day now.
