Carolina stripped away the best of the Bucs

Tuesday, 6 a.m.

It was a simple enough contest, one of those man-in-the-stands sort of interviews where the fan was supposed to talk about how much he loves his team and he loves his seats and he loves the NFL. All is good and the beer is cold. And furthermore, rah.

And then the fan lost his mind.

It was a sunny day in Charlotte, another one of those games back when the Panthers and Bucs still mattered, when a nation noticed when they tried to make a muscle. And so it was early in the game when the microphone found its way to the fan, who suddenly thought he had been transformed into Rick Flair.

Suddenly, he had both hands gripping the microphone, and he was dripping
