If the preseason is a clue, he has work to do.

If the practice games are an indication, he will take some time to grow.

In the case of Jameis Winston, are you prepared for that?

Winston, the Bucs' rookie quarterback, remains a work in progress. Yes, Winston has tons of potential, and he can certainly throw a football. But as far as being a developed quarterback, well, the canvas is still wet. He is not yet finished. He is not yet ripe.

Even if you were being realistic, you might have hoped for more than what you have seen
