Bucs had good intentions with a bad idea

I'm sure that, at one point, it was a well-meaning idea. Most bad ideas start that way.

I really believe that the Tampa Bay Bucs wanted to reach out to their female fans. I really think they wanted to tap in on the growing female fan base (up to 45 percent) and the disposable income of women fans.

At the heart of the matter, I think the intent was noble. The problem is, it isn't 1964 anymore, and most women football fans are not June Cleaver.

So there's that.
