Jerry Angelo is a former personnel director for the Bucs and former general manager of the Bears. Each week, Angelo answers your questions regarding the NFL. Send your questions to GarySheltonsports@gmail.com with "ask the expert'' in the subject line. The most interesting question will be selected.

For the current NFL playoffs in progress, the #2 seed teams in each conference will have one more day's rest than the #1 seed teams as the #2 seed teams' games were played on Saturday while the #1 seed teams' games were played on Sunday. That does not seem fair to me.  Shouldn't the #1 seed teams get the advantage here, if there is going to be one?  Or, why not make sure there is no advantage by playing both NFC  Divisional games on the same day and both AFC Divisional games on the same day?

Scott Myers

Scott, I don’t think it’s that big a deal given the top 2 seeds have a bye week. You have a point, but TV dictates scheduling. I’ve never heard of any team complaining about it one way or the another.
