We haven’t talked since the draft. You knew the Bucs were going to take Jameis Winston, but what do you think of their other selections? Can a rookie be an impact player on the offensive line?

Yes he can. Chicago’s offensive guard, Kyle Long, started and played very well as a rookie.

It’s not easy to do as an offensive linemen, mostly because there is so much more to learn at that position. You are also part of a five-man unit that has a string attached to them. They must all be in synch and that takes time.
