How much does a wife such as Mika Grimes hurt her husband's career, assuming for a moment that Brent Grimes is a really solid player (I don't know if he is or not.) How much would a team take her into consideration before signing him?

I think they just shrug off her comments as another loose-lipped spouse, which are more plentiful than you think.

Teams get their own scouts' appraisal of players. And while I'm not a big Ryan Tannehill guy either, I wouldn't trust Brent Grimes' grading prowess, let alone his wife's.

If I'm signing Grimes, who is solid, I consider the possible disruption his wife can be. Remember, this is a transaction that will cost the team millions of dollars. I think you consider everything.

Thanks to the dreadful Bucs, I’m seriously considering pursuing a career as a writer of fiction.
