Who do you predict will be the 2016 national college football champion and why?

Howard Powders

I'm going with Alabama, which I see beating Clemson in a close game in the finals. I think the Tide has the right coach and the right system, and they've been at the top of the recruiting wars for years. They have a great defense and a fine running back, and defense and the running game are usually the last things to have a bad game.

One reservation? The Tide may have the least talented quarterback in the playoffs. So if someone can somehow stop Henry, the Tide could be had. But the defense should make up for it.
