As of now, he is your hope. He is your heartbeat.

There is something about Nikita Kucherov that makes you believe in tomorrow, and the day after. There is something about him that whispers that he can be special, that he can carry a team, that he can he can get the Lightning past these pesky Detroit Red Wings. As of now, he is the man in charge of your franchise.

After all, he is what is left on a team where Steven Stamkos is injured, where Tyler Johnson has not been the player of a year ago. Who else is going to drive this franchise in these playoffs?

Kucherov can.
