When the disappointment of the USF basketball team is remembered, the loss to East Carolina will help to define it.

The Bulls managed only 39 points and lost their 23rd game out of 30 for the season.

“It was one of those night where we couldn’t execute and couldn’t find a basket,” said head coach Orlando Antigua. “We missed a lot of shots that we normally would make. Then we started pressing and tried to rush and force things. We have to give East Carolina a lot of credit. They capitalized on their momentum and that inspired them.”

Jeleel Cousins scored 13 points for the Bulls.

USF’s final regular season game will be its first meeting with Tulsa on Saturday at 5 p.m. on ESPNEWS.
