FSU loses to Clemson; USF beats East Carolina

A stopped fourth-and-one play with 6:30 to go spurred the No. 3 ranked Clemson Tigers to a victory over FSU Saturday night.

The Seminoles were tied with Clemson at 13 at the time, but Shaq Lawson stopped Dalvin Cook on the biggest play of the game. From there, Clemson drove for the go-ahead field goal and later added an insurance touchdown in a 23-13 victory.

It was one of the many things that went wrong for the Seminoles down the stretch as Clemson scored the only 10 points of the quarter.

FSU coach Jimbo Fisher chose to go with quarterback Sean Maguire, who did not play
